We are pleased to offer an “in-between.” The Silhouette InstaLift is not a surgical procedure, yet it can give you the lift you need for facial rejuvenation.
WHAT IS SILHOUETTE INSTALIFT?
Silhouette InstaLift is a suspension suture that lifts the deeper layers of your skin for a more youthful appearance. The Silhouette InstaLift is a facial re-contouring procedure that requires local anesthesia and little downtime. What makes Silhouette InstaLift unique is the ongoing production of collagen that it instigates. It doesn’t just lift; it regenerates youthful-looking skin.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR SILHOUETTE INSTALIFT?
A good candidate for an instalift would be someone not ready for a facelift but needs more lifting provided by facial fillers.
WHAT CAN INSTALIFT IMPROVE?
This minimally invasive procedure is intended for the correction of mid-face sagging. The strategic placement of suture material suspends the tissue along the cheeks. As a result of mid-face lifting, the jaw line also improves.
HOW DOES SILHOUTTE INSTALIFT WORK?
The in-office procedure is performed after careful evaluation and planning. Before your treatment, we will discuss your concerns and how the Silhouette InstaLift can ease them. The procedure itself involves the placement of an absorbable suture or string.
CAN SILHOUETTE INSTALIFT BE COMBINED WITH OTHER PROCEDURES?
Surgical facelift treatment is sometimes combined with other procedures, such as fat grafting or dermal fillers. Facelift surgery only lifts and tightens the skin over skeletal structure. It does nothing to restore naturally lost volume as we age.
The Silhouette InstaLift achieves two objectives:
- Immediately lifts the skin in the midface
- Supports the ongoing production of collagen for long term improvements
As collagen is restored, volume in the midface is restored. For this reason, it may not be necessary for InstaLift patients to combine this procedure with other treatments.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?
Immediate results with minimal downtime. Silhouette InstaLift acts in the subcutaneous tissue and stimulates fibroblast activation and the gradual production of Type I and Type III collagen. Silhouette InstaLift sutures are made from material that is well known and has been used for more than 30 years in several biomedical and pharmaceutical applications. Some patients might experience moderate bruising for 2-3 days.
HOW LONG WILL SILHOUETTE INSTALIFT RESULTS LAST?
The InstaLift rebuilds the foundation on which youthful skin sits. Every patient may notice varying results in terms of the degree of lifting and longevity of results. On average, the skin remains tighter and smoother for up to 18 months.
