JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® with lidocaine is a new dermal filler treatment for the lips and Peri-oral area. They are designed not only for gentle restoration of natural-looking lip volume but also for defining lip contours, treating oral commissures, smoothing fine 'barcode' lines around the lips, and supporting the 'marionette' lines down the chin.

How do JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® lip injections work?

Developed using Allergan's proprietary Vycross technology, JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® formulated with lidocaine is an innovative combination of low and high molecular weight technology, improving cross-linking efficiency of HA chains. This more effective cross-linking allows for a lower concentration of HA to be used, which results in minor swelling. The Vycross technology delivers an ultra-smooth gel, which results in a natural look and feel and improved duration. Ultimately, this unique technology allows the product to absorb less water, resulting in considerably reduced swelling compared to more traditional fillers. Furthermore, there is less downtime, but the treatment is also made as pain-free as possible by the built-in lidocaine anesthetic. Lastly, results can last up to twelve months.

As smoker's lines are challenging to treat, a JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® treatment in conjunction with laser procedures stimulates collagen and improves the final rejuvenation of the mouth area.
