  The staff of Vitality anti-Aging Center and Medical Spa are licensed professionals with many years of medical experience. We are trained to give the best care possible to each and every one of our clients.

• Charles McKaraher, MD
Dr. McKaraher is board certified in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. He has years of experience working in Hickory. He has worked in the Frye Regional Emergency Department and currently co-owns Piedmont Urgent Care of North Carolina. He is trained and experienced in non-ablative laser treatments. Doctor McKaraher is the Medical Director for Vitality. Doctor McKaraher and Grace McLaurin, PA-C have worked together for the past 12 years.

• Grace McLaurin, PA-C
Grace McLaurin has been practicing in the Hickory area for the past eleven years. She has advanced training in the use of Botox, Dermal fillers, Mesotherapy, and multiple laser systems. In addition, she has experience in Internal Medicine and Women's Health.

• Terry DeMeyer, CNP
Terry DeMeyer has practiced women's medicine in Hickory for the past 10 years. Her expertise includes menopause, peri-menopause, and hormone imbalances in all ages. She has a special interest in a more natural approach to medicine utilizing bio-identical hormones, vitamins, and supplements. Terry is Board Certified in Anti-Aging Medicine through A4M.

• Keisha Setzer, CNA
has vast experience in women’s health and aesthetic treatments.

She currently assists Grace and Terry in the office.  She also works closely with our weight loss patients.

• Lucretia Van Dyke
Lucretia comes to Vitality with a wealth of knowledge and experience.  She is experienced with many different facials, Microdermabrasion, skin care, and make-up application.  She has vast experience in training and development.  She is highly skilled at customizing  therapeutic face and body treatments for your skin.

• Kathy Findley, Licensed Medical Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician

Kathy has over 5 years of experience with the Cutera Coolglide Xeo Laser and Light system performing permanent hair reduction, facial and leg vascular treatments and laser skin rejuvenation. She also has vast experience with advanced microdermabrasion treatments, chemical peels, facials, Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup and a variety of skin care products including Obagi Medical.

• Jean Paspa,
Licensed Aesthetician,
has practiced independently for the past 3 years in a local salon.  She has experience with facials, Microdermabrasion, light treatments, make-up, eyelash extensions,  and skin care. She is well versed in our skin care lines and can help you customize your skin care regime. She is also experienced with Xtreme Lash eyelash extensions.
 

• Joseph Spencer, Licensed Aesthetician is highly skilled in his profession.  He has experience with multiple facial techniques, microdermabrasion, and skin care.  He is highly skilled in make-up application, contouring, and camouflage techniques.  He is vey familiar with all of our skin care lines and will be able to help you come up with a customized plan for all of your cosmetic needs.

• DeAnna Drum, Licensed Aesthetician, LMBT #123
is both and experienced aesthetician and massage therapist.  She has worked in the Hickory  area for a number of years.  She has a vast experience in Microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and various massage modalities. She has special interest in the medical benefits of aromatherapy , massage, and body treatments.

• Anna Schiltz, LMBT #6849
has worked part-time at Vitality for the past year.  She is a highly qualified massage therapist with special interest in Neuro-Muscular and Deep Tissue massage techniques.

• Zachary Townsend,
LMBT #5851
brings experience with multiple massage modalities.  He is experienced with deep tissue, relaxation, aroma therapy, and other therapeutic massage modalities.  He is also experienced with many body wraps and other body treatments.

• Lori Winstead,
Office Manager
Lori has extensive experience in medical billing and medical office management. She is a certified insurance coder and is very familiar with the daily needs of a busy medical practice.  She is available to answer any questions regarding your insurance or vitality and it’s staff.
