Medications are refilled only during office hours (Monday & Wednesday 9am - 5pm, Tuesday & Thursday 9am - 6pm, and Friday 9am - 1pm) when the staff has access to your medical records. Before you call our office, please check with your pharmacist because she or he may already have permission to refill a prescription. When you call for a prescription, please have the phone number of the pharmacy of your choice available for our staff. Plan ahead for prescription refills. You should expect a 24-hour turnaround time for refills to be completed so please do not wait until Friday to request a refill. Please understand that we do not make telephone diagnoses or prescribe medications by telephone for disorders not undergoing current treatment. Refill requests cannot be authorized if you have not been seen by one of our providers in the last 12 months. |
